The Billion Dollar Hotel -a conceptual art space and rental apartment- is located just in the heart of Berlin Downtown East: The Alexanderplatz. Staying at our place makes sightseeing, shopping and exploring the exciting district MITTE easy and comfortable. In the area of Alexanderplatz are located the most exciting cafes, galleries, museums, clubs and shopping spots. To reach sightseeing spots such as Potsdamer Platz, Jewish Museum, Museumsinsel, Brandenburger Tor, Governmental District, Unter den Linden or Berlin West you can either just walk or use the excellent public transportation network which is located just in “front of our door”.
The Apartment is a two floor "Maisonette"-Apartment, with 3 rooms and bathroom in the lower floor and a living room, a big kitchen and toilet in the upper floor. The Apartment interior is designed simple and minimalistic, but comfortable. Every room comes with a Designer Bed, but upgrading two rooms to a double bed room is possible. Overall we have 5 beds. Bathroom has a bathtub, shower, toilet and sink. In the upper floor there's also another toilet. Kitchen has two refrigerators, oven, 4 stovetops, double bowl sink, coffee-maker, breakfast table, kitchen dishes such as plates, forks, knifes, glasses and so on. In the living room we have a sofa, sofa table, arm chair, chair, Wireless LAN Internet and stereo-hifi to connect your iPod. If you wish we can provide you an TV to connect your laptop to watch DVDs, but we offer no Television Channels.

| Mitte: Berlin Mitte is the district with the most attractions to visit in Berlin. There is an endless list of historical and magnificent squares and buildings. The best known monument of Berlin is doubtless the “Brandenburger Tor”. It has been a symbol for Berlin in all times: before Germany’s reunification as well as today. From here you can easily explore the magnificent boulevard “Unter den Linden” with the famous “Adlon” hotel leading to the “Karl Liebknecht Strasse” street to the “Fernsehturm” tower; Berlin’s highest building. You will pass the “world time clock” and the popular Humboldt University, the national Opera and finally the “Museumsinsel” which is an ensemble of famous museums and a Unesco world heritage sight.
The “Friedrichsstrasse” is nowadays a shopping street with shopping centers such as the Lafayette gallery and high class shops. To one direction it leads to the former “Checkpoint Charlie” and to the other direction to the “Oranienburger Strasse”. This former Jewish quarter is a popular place to go out in Berlin. Nearby you will find the new synagogue, the “Häkische Höfe” squares as well as the culture center “Tacheles”.
The “Gendarmenmarkt” is one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares. Also located here is the “Schauspielhaus” theater, the German and the French Dome. Worth a visit is also the “Dorrotheenstädtische Friedhof” cemetery with the graves of writers Hegel, Brecht and Schinkel as well as Berlin’s “Nikolaiviertel” quarter that has kept its 18th century’s small town charm .
The “Neue Regierungsviertel” (new governmental sight) is located between the districts of Berlin Mitte and Tiergarten.
