| Apartment A&O for 2-4 people, in the geographic centre of Berlin, a few steps from the Spree, the East Side Gallery, the Märkisch Museum and Alexanderplatz. Maximum capacity for four people in this apartment A&O of 35m², furnished with modern style. The living room is divided into a corner to watch the television with a comfortable sofa bed and an area to sleep with a double bed. If requested, we can include a bed for children (10€) and a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a two burner stove, coffee pot, toaster, water boiler, set of dishes, place settings and pots. The bathroom has a shower and a WC. In the hotel opposite the apartment, A&O Mitte, guests may pick up the keys upon arrival. Arrivals from 14:00 h. The day of departure, the keys must be turned into reception before 12:00. Easy access to public transportation. The underground station “Heinrich-Heine-Straße" is only 2 minutes away and the urban train station Ostbahnhof is only 5 minutes away. Bus 265 stops near the lodging. Note: for reservations made more than 10 days before the arrival date, the proprietor requires a 50% deposit through bank transfer. The remaining 50% is paid when picking up the keys. If there are less than 10 days between the reservation and the arrival date, the entire amount is paid at check-in. |

| Mitte: Berlin Mitte is the district with the most attractions to visit in Berlin. There is an endless list of historical and magnificent squares and buildings. The best known monument of Berlin is doubtless the “Brandenburger Tor”. It has been a symbol for Berlin in all times: before Germany’s reunification as well as today. From here you can easily explore the magnificent boulevard “Unter den Linden” with the famous “Adlon” hotel leading to the “Karl Liebknecht Strasse” street to the “Fernsehturm” tower; Berlin’s highest building. You will pass the “world time clock” and the popular Humboldt University, the national Opera and finally the “Museumsinsel” which is an ensemble of famous museums and a Unesco world heritage sight.
The “Friedrichsstrasse” is nowadays a shopping street with shopping centers such as the Lafayette gallery and high class shops. To one direction it leads to the former “Checkpoint Charlie” and to the other direction to the “Oranienburger Strasse”. This former Jewish quarter is a popular place to go out in Berlin. Nearby you will find the new synagogue, the “Häkische Höfe” squares as well as the culture center “Tacheles”.
The “Gendarmenmarkt” is one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares. Also located here is the “Schauspielhaus” theater, the German and the French Dome. Worth a visit is also the “Dorrotheenstädtische Friedhof” cemetery with the graves of writers Hegel, Brecht and Schinkel as well as Berlin’s “Nikolaiviertel” quarter that has kept its 18th century’s small town charm .
The “Neue Regierungsviertel” (new governmental sight) is located between the districts of Berlin Mitte and Tiergarten.
