There are three underground stations within 5 minutes walking distance; all of the most important objectives are easily accessed, such as the Regierung neighborhood, Potsdam Plaza, Brandenburg Gate, the Island Museum, Gendarmenmarkt, the Friedrichstrasse, Unter den Linden or Ku-Damm. 10 minutes to the City-West and 15 to the City-East. The Potsdam Plaza and the Tempodrom are within 15 minutes walking distance, and 5 minutes to Columbia Avenue.
On Bermann Street, (one of the liveliest and most interesting in Berlin), just on the corner there are commercial offers of all kinds. Here one may find the historic market, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and much more. There is an ecological market in the Plaza "Chamisso" on Saturdays. |
