The building was constructed for the International Architecture Exposition of 1957, today it is a national monument (as well as the neighbourhood: Hansaviertel). The building is situated inside of the principal city park, the Tiergarten, in the centre of Berlin, with immense gardens and some of the most important sights: the Tiergarten itself, Brandemburgo Gate, the Parliament (Reichstag), the chancellery and Hauptbanhof. There is easy access to public transportation, with the Bellevue underground station just 50 meters away. The residential area is very comfortable with many services: supermarket 3 minutes away, cafes and restaurants. The apartment has a very functional layout of “modern architecture” and has been recently renovated. Situated on the first floor, very luminous, with 60m². There is an entrance hall, living room (sofa bed with two single beds), equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator), bathroom (with a large shower), one bedroom (double bed) and a dining room. The Hansaviertel neighbourhood was constructed in the 1950´s as an emblem of the reconstruction of occidental Berlin. The municipality handed over several terrains inside Tiergarten Park, and the best architects of the time (Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto...) conceived a modern style neighbourhood inside the city, with an exceptional connection with urban nature and all of the necessary comforts and services: underground station, shopping centre (supermarket, restaurants, cafes…). Today, the neighbourhood and its buildings are classified as a national monument. The neighbourhood of wide streets possess large gardens in the centre of Berlin; a privileged situation to discover and enjoy the city.
