The apartment is equipped with a color television, radio/CD, furnished and equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, toaster, dishes, pots, etc.) and central heating. Transportation: optimal connection with bus, Adenauerplatz Underground Station and the Charlottenburg street car. There is a direct bus from the Tegel Airport to Adenauerplatz. Approximately 10 minutes to the Zoo station or the Fair grounds in the Television Tower. Direct connection with the highway through Rathenauplatz. Location: 5 minutes from Kurfürstendamm, direct on Adenaurplatz. There are many restaurants, bars, cinemas and theatres in the surrounding area. Olivarer Platz, Lehniner Platz and Savignyplatz have all kinds of small shops and you can easily walk to all of them. Internet with a UMTS-connection can be use everytime and you have to pay 5 euros by every use. |

| Charlottenburg: Towards the end of the 19th century the street Kurfürstendamm started to develop into a highstreet boulevard and turned Berlin Charlottenburg into another centre of Berlin in competition with the former city centre along the streets ‘Unter den Linden’ and ‘Friedrichstraße’. Due to the mixture of culture, shopping and gastronomy, this area soon turned into a major attraction of Berlin. In 1896 the theatre ‘Theater des Westens’ was opened, in 1907 the Schiller theatre and the famous department store ‘Kaufhaus des Westens’, in 1912 the opera house. The Kurfürstendamm attracts with numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars. Important sights in this area are among others the Memorial Church, the Olympic Stadium, the palace Charlottenburg, the German Opera Berlin and the Mosque. |
