| Holiday apartment of 78m² for up to 7 people in Berlin Wilmersdorf, close to Kurfürstendamm, Steglitz. The room is luminous, sunny and spacious. The living room has a balcony with views of a nice garden, a large television, a Home cinema with Dolby Surround sound to watch movies, DVD-DVB-T, CD and radio. There is a nice dining room attached to the kitchen with views of a 40m2 garden with a barbeque, patio furniture, etc. The apartment was completely renovated in a modern way in July 2006. The bedrooms floors have a high quality laminate and the rest of the apartment has tile floors. New kitchen with high quality materials, including: a vitro ceramic stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, egg cooker, teapot, mixer and a coffee maker. The large and exclusive bathroom has a shower and tub. The apartment has the following sleeping options: in the living room there is a fold-out sofa bed for two people and an extra single bed which may be added. In the first bedroom there is a double bed (18x200) and in the second bedroom there is a single bed (90x200) as well as an additional fold-out bed. In the centre of Berlin there is a wonderful metropolitan rhythm, lots of shopping, interesting people and unforgettable moments. The apartment is located in the best starting-point for tourists in Berlin! Bundesplatz has great shops, numerous restaurants and cocktail bars. There is a large variety of things to do thanks to the easy access to public transportation to other parts of the city. You will find the street car, underground, buses and taxis close by, so there is no need for a car. The famous Volkspark is close enough to take a walk each day. The Tegel Airport is approximately 15 minutes away, the Zoo is only 5 minutes away. Potsdamer Platz, Friedrichstr. Hackescher Markt, Brandenburger Tor, Berliner Dom and the new principal station are all 15 minutes away. | Charlottenburg: Towards the end of the 19th century the street Kurfürstendamm started to develop into a highstreet boulevard and turned Berlin Charlottenburg into another centre of Berlin in competition with the former city centre along the streets ‘Unter den Linden’ and ‘Friedrichstraße’. Due to the mixture of culture, shopping and gastronomy, this area soon turned into a major attraction of Berlin. In 1896 the theatre ‘Theater des Westens’ was opened, in 1907 the Schiller theatre and the famous department store ‘Kaufhaus des Westens’, in 1912 the opera house. The Kurfürstendamm attracts with numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars.
