We offer an apartment with a rooftop in Sophienstraße, 10178 Berlin for rent. It belongs to a complex of patios of Hackeschen market and it is in wonderful and animated area on Berlin’s city centre. High standing boutiques, restaurants, bars and gourmet shops in the surrounding the area. 2 minutes from U8 underground station “Weinmeistertraße” , “Hackescher Markt” trolley and underground 1. You will live in the heart of Berlin. The apartment is situated on the fifth floor of a representative building with homes and offices. It has a small balcony and a large 9m2 roof. There is furniture on the terrace for three people. Module kitchen fully equipped including vacuum cleaner, microwave, tea kettle and automatic coffee machine. There is also washing machine and all kinds of kitchen utensils. 2 beds are placed on a platform and there is sofa bed for two people. Built-in wardrobe can be found behind a curtain and there is space to store your clothes and luggage. Television with a DVBT antenna, DVD player and a portable music player. Bathroom with a shower and an especially large mirror. Parquet floors and central heating add to the comfort of this apartment. |

| Mitte: Berlin Mitte is the district with the most attractions to visit in Berlin. There is an endless list of historical and magnificent squares and buildings. The best known monument of Berlin is doubtless the “Brandenburger Tor”. It has been a symbol for Berlin in all times: before Germany’s reunification as well as today. From here you can easily explore the magnificent boulevard “Unter den Linden” with the famous “Adlon” hotel leading to the “Karl Liebknecht Strasse” street to the “Fernsehturm” tower; Berlin’s highest building. You will pass the “world time clock” and the popular Humboldt University, the national Opera and finally the “Museumsinsel” which is an ensemble of famous museums and a Unesco world heritage sight.
The “Friedrichsstrasse” is nowadays a shopping street with shopping centers such as the Lafayette gallery and high class shops. To one direction it leads to the former “Checkpoint Charlie” and to the other direction to the “Oranienburger Strasse”. This former Jewish quarter is a popular place to go out in Berlin. Nearby you will find the new synagogue, the “Häkische Höfe” squares as well as the culture center “Tacheles”.
The “Gendarmenmarkt” is one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares. Also located here is the “Schauspielhaus” theater, the German and the French Dome. Worth a visit is also the “Dorrotheenstädtische Friedhof” cemetery with the graves of writers Hegel, Brecht and Schinkel as well as Berlin’s “Nikolaiviertel” quarter that has kept its 18th century’s small town charm .
The “Neue Regierungsviertel” (new governmental sight) is located between the districts of Berlin Mitte and Tiergarten.
