This luminous charming holiday flat in Berlin is situated right in the heart of the quarter Berlin-Charlottenburg. The famous boulevard Kurfürstendamm, the opera house, the Schiller Theatre and the Castle of Charlottenburg are within walking distance, the fairgrounds with the ICC can be conveniently accessed by Taxi or Underground. The vacation apartment is surrounded by many restaurants and plenty of shopping facilities. The apartment itself is located on the second floor and comprises an area of 54 m² that contains a spacious living room, a smaller bedroom as well as a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The design and equipment of the holiday flat is stylish, modern and functional. Besides the double bed in the bedroom there are two comfortable sofa beds in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. A hall with a wardrobe, dining table, balcony and a TV set guarantee that you have a pleasent stay in Berlin. Upon request, the landlords are more than happy to do some grocery shopping for you before you arrive.

| Charlottenburg: Towards the end of the 19th century the street Kurfürstendamm started to develop into a highstreet boulevard and turned Berlin Charlottenburg into another centre of Berlin in competition with the former city centre along the streets ‘Unter den Linden’ and ‘Friedrichstraße’. Due to the mixture of culture, shopping and gastronomy, this area soon turned into a major attraction of Berlin. In 1896 the theatre ‘Theater des Westens’ was opened, in 1907 the Schiller theatre and the famous department store ‘Kaufhaus des Westens’, in 1912 the opera house. The Kurfürstendamm attracts with numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars. Important sights in this area are among others the Memorial Church, the Olympic Stadium, the palace Charlottenburg, the German Opera Berlin and the Mosque. |
