Description
Bright apartment with panoramic views of the television tower and the balcony, and located on a quiet side street near the Wall Park. The apartment has been renovated and completely refurbished recently; be surprised! Do it in Berlin Style! The apartment has been designed as a comfortable retreat, with modern furniture, but with the characteristic design of the 60’s and 70’s, flower power and sidereal (apart from the mattresses), as well as art and kitsch to create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. There is also an apartment available for 3 (Ref. 7830) and one 2 bedroom one (Ref. 7833). There is enough room to put things in, a well equipped kitchen, and there is a dining table in the living room which can also be used as a desk. You can finish the day watching a sunset on the balcony…or even start it like this. The apartment is on the third floor and has a south-west facing balcony and three bedrooms: one with a double bed (140x200), another with a double bed (2x100x200) and the living room, with a comfortable sofa bed from Ikea (140x200). There are wardrobes and a chest of drawers available as well. Dining room table and chairs in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a coffee machine, a kettle, an espresso machine etc…as well as a small table and chairs to have breakfast at. We will provide you with a bed and chair for the little ones if you request them in advance. You can get Internet access for an additional cost of 10 euros which covers the whole of your stay.

Location
Wedding is located about 5km to the northwest of the very centre of Berlin. The barrio is typified by the graffiti slogan that greets visitors as they cross its imaginary border: bright letters proclaiming “Der Wedding kommt anders” ("Wedding is different").

The epicenter of the artistic community and the self-marginalized, Wedding sets trends rather that follows them. Instead of museums and mansions, you will find factories converted into loft cafes and art galleries. From the end of the 19th century, the district developed itself as the "workers’ quarter" and it rapidly became one of the most crowded areas in Berlin. It then went on to become one of the devastated areas of Berlin during the second world war and then up until 20 years ago, the very symbol of the hammer and sickle.Wedding is home to a number of important sites. The French Cemetery for example, with its 18th and 19th century graves which have inspired countless writers and poets with its romanticism. Furthermore one can find the biggest European sculpture factory and the old mill Pankemühle. There are two nice parks: Volkspark Humboldthain and Volkspark Rehberge, the Sugar Museum and the Kolonie Wedding, the place to be for the alternative art scene. Wedding offers a good selection of bars and also two cinemas. As Wedding is close to the centre it is well-connected to public transport: The metro lines U6 and U9 stop here, as well as the S-Bahn at the Wedding station. And in addition with the bus lines M267, 106, 120 and 147 running through the area, you won't have any problems exploring everything that Berlin has to offer should you chose accommodation in this area. If you want to stay in a central area with an alternative scene and steeped in history, then Wedding is your place to stay.
