You can get to Potsdamerplatz, Under den Linden, Reichstag, Friedrichstrasse and the Gendarmenmarkt market in 5 minutes with the bus or the metro. In the nearby area you can find lots of cafés and restaurants. The western part of the city can be easily reached with the U and the S-Bahn. There is a direct connection to Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstrasse and to the historical Scheunenviertel from the Zinnowitzer Strasse station (U6). You can go directly from Nordbahnhof to Under den Linden and Potsdamerplatz with the S-Bahn (S1, S2). The 245 bus goes to the Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten.
