This Berlin vacation apartment is the ideal social meeting point, be it for trade fairs, operas or museums. The accomodation is very "traffic-favorably" located, directly in the Wilmersdorfer street with many shops and close to the Kurfürstendamm. The U-Bahn U2 and U7 (Bismarck street) are directly in front of the building. The landlords look forward to your visit! It measures 60m², divided in shower with toilet, guest toilet, kitchen and two bedrooms. The apartment is located on the 4^th floor of a typical old Berlin building. The S-Bahn ( Charlottenburg) can be reached in 3 minutes. Pretty much all the shops and businesses are nearby. ADSL internet connection can be used free of charge.

Location

Charlottenburg: Towards the end of the 19th century the street Kurfürstendamm started to develop into a highstreet boulevard and turned Berlin Charlottenburg into another centre of Berlin in competition with the former city centre along the streets ‘Unter den Linden’ and ‘Friedrichstraße’. Due to the mixture of culture, shopping and gastronomy, this area soon turned into a major attraction of Berlin. In 1896 the theatre ‘Theater des Westens’ was opened, in 1907 the Schiller theatre and the famous department store ‘Kaufhaus des Westens’, in 1912 the opera house. The Kurfürstendamm attracts with numerous stores, cafés, restaurants and bars. Important sights in this area are among others the Memorial Church, the Olympic Stadium, the palace Charlottenburg, the German Opera Berlin and the Mosque.
