"Didn't realize that renting an apartment was just a single room. Owner was nice, she provided breakfast one morning and has travel maps/books for tourists. The room was fairly clean, the bathroom and kitchen needed a cleaning but the three of us managed to survive our 4 days in Berlin just fine. Parking is available for 5 euro a night next door at the Havana Club, we did not park there, on street parking was hard to find but available. The bedroom was pretty good, the loft was well liked and comfortable by an 8year old. I found the downstairs bed to be very comfortable after a full day of walking and sight seeing. The area might feel a little intimidating at first if its your first time to Berlin with graffiti and what not every where but its really a 5XBOSTON. Great hospitality for the price! I would do it again however my girlfriend would not.
